Andrew Orobator
PROFESSOR
Andrew Orobator has been teaching engineers for ten years. He taught Kotlin and Android to teams at Amazon, Macy's, and Starbucks, mentored at Google-funded Pursuit (2018 Volunteer of the Year), and is a Senior Android Engineer at Reddit.He wrote Vibe Engineering, a 10-part series on building real, production-ready software with AI. The method is simple: don't let the model guess. Give it specs, tests, and gates, and you get a system instead of a pile of lucky code. He used it to build Sparkpass, a Lightning-native ticketing platform, in 33 days of nights and weekends.
He also runs Sovereign Circuits, a Bitcoin mining operation. This summer he spoke at the AI Engineer World's Fair on judgement as the real bottleneck in automated engineering, and at DroidCon on why your agent needs a bedtime.

Claudio De Alba is a fitness coach and founder of Point Break Gym on Isla Mujeres — the island's first Bitcoin-accepting gym and home of Be Ultimate. He is crossfit L1 + L2 certified, trains locals and visitors with a no-nonsense, community-first approach: real coaches, real effort, real results. No filters, no scripts. You get your own bed in a shared room — think two beds, two people. You're not sleeping on a couch or bunking with a stranger (or maybe you are, if you dare!). Each person has their own space; you just share the room itself.

Opened August 2025, Point Break Gym is Isla Mujeres' newest and most ambitious fitness facility. Built by Claudio De Alba and Isabella Santos behind Mayakita, it's a hybrid indoor-outdoor gym running HIIT, strength, cardio, HYROX-style training, Pilates, and yoga. The energy is raw, community-driven, and unapologetically intense. The first gym on the island to accept Bitcoin. Bootcamp mornings start here, because clear thinking begins with a moved body. -

The Bitcoin Café

The first Bitcoin café in all of Mexico. It prices everything in sats and pulls in Bitcoiners, builders, and curious travelers from around the world. Isabella put it simply: "a vibe." It's where strangers sit down for coffee and end up in three-hour conversations about sovereignty and software.

No. This bootcamp is built around vibe coding — you describe what you want to build and AI writes the code. Andrew teaches you how to think like a builder and direct the tools, not how to debug syntax. If you can type and explain an idea, you can build.

Two options once you land on the island:

Island taxis are safe and reasonably priced — no hesitation here
🛻 Golf Cart (most fun)
The bootcamp will have shared golf carts available for group travel, so a taxi to Mayakita is all you need on arrival

Work hard, go deep, then live the island. Morning training is optional but most people do it. Labs are focused and real. Afternoons are for the Caribbean — snorkeling, golf carts, sunset swims. Evenings are the whole group at dinner. It's intense and it's fun. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
